SNEAK PEEK: Scarlett Epstein Hates It Here by Anna Breslaw

*I will update this review with a full version as soons as I get my hands on this book*

Let me start off by confessing something.

Snow's confession:
I too have fallen into the void that is the unending vortex of Tumblr , Twitter, and Instagram. In the older times, they had the gladiators then it was the royal family. However, in the era we live in today, we have the verified (plays dramatic music).

Plot

The story opens with a girl named Scarlett AKA Scarface. Her world has just ended. The most unspeakable horror has fallen upon her, her favourite show has been cancelled.

Scarlett has never felt as if her life is real. Her real life happens on social media. Her real friends are the people who share her love for her favourite TV show. So when the TV show is cancelled, her life as she has come to know it is over, and she has to start facing the challenges that she has been hiding from.

My Experience

This book immediately pulls you into that familiar comfortable place, known as Home by many, it pulls you into cyberspace.
Needless to say, this book gripped me instantly. It made me curious as to where it would go and how it would get there. The question I had was would it be able to keep my attention since I could not see much growth for the plot. This question remains as I have arrived at the end of this excerpt.

Favourite quotes:

"School was just a forced lame interlude between our real worlds"

"It's amazing how the more you read the less you know"

Rating:

This is only the excerpt so far and I am burning to read the rest.

So no rating yet since I have not finished it yet.

Recommendations:

So far I'm recommending this book to any social media obsessed individual. I would like to purchase this book as a gift for a few of the friends I have made online.

What I liked (so far):

The characters are so natural they are who you would like them to be.

What I have not liked (so far):
Honestly it's just been fun to read. My only comment is on the villain Ashley. I don't dislike her enough for my taste. (So far)

Sincerely

Snow

I have returned.

Hi there,

I have returned.

I apologize if you have read any of my previous reviews. You might have experienced this sense of dread and horror, either by all of my spelling mistakes or by the content.

In my defence, I was in grade 10 at the time I published these reviews. I am planning on re-editing them all. I am also planning to continue my journey upon reviewing books since it is an element in my life I have been missing immensely.

So welcome back if you have been waiting for my return hazaa! I am back. Welcome if this is your first time here grab a chair sit back relax and I'll be with you as soon as I can.

This blog will undergo serious reconstruction before I post my next review.

I have read 18 books in this year so far so expect many reviews.

I bid thee farewell.

Sincerely

Snow
